Tending to Today, Growing for Tomorrow
Never in my life did I think that “one day, I'm gonna run for office.” During COVID, there were people in office who didn’t represent Coralville in the way that the community deserved and the community pushed back.
At the time, several friends and others from the community suggested I run. When they asked, I answered. I answered to give others a greater voice in the community and to help Coralville thrive. I am proud to continue lifting up those voices and to continue serving my community as a Coralville City Council Member!

A new Community Recreation Center will be a huge step forward for Coralville! Our current facility is over 50 years old and costly to maintain. The proposed center will feature a three-court gym, walking track, community rooms, fitness spaces, and two natatoriums with three pools. This project will be a vibrant hub for health and connection, and I’m proud to support it!

Expanding our parks, trails, and natural spaces would be a major step forward, not only for safety, but also for the way Coralville looks and feels. These improvements will make our community more connected and more welcoming. I’m committed to ensuring all residents have access to open, easily accessible community spaces.

Affordability isn’t one-size-fits-all—it means making sure everyone can live here comfortably. Stable housing is the foundation for opportunity, shaping health, work, and education. By investing in housing, we invest in our people and strengthen Coralville for everyone: workers, families, seniors.

In my work with the Coralville Community Food Pantry, I see our neighbors struggling everyday while our federal and state governments are making it harder for people in Coralville to feed themselves. Resources - once dedicated to feeding kids, seniors, and veterans - are being cut and cut. We deserve better and I'm dedicated to fighting for the right to food for all those living in Coralville!
